FCAC “Seeing The Light” Photography Workshop is Apr. 14

Local photographer Bob Ringham will present a photography workshop, Seeing The Light, at the Franklin County Arts Council (FCAC) headquarters. The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2018, 10am-5:30pm.

This day-long workshop will include:

  • Understanding your camera’s settings
  • Composition
  • Shooting in raw versus jpg format
  • Adobe RGB or sRGB
  • Being a Seeker of Light

The workshop will begin at 10am at the FCAC’s Upfront Gallery, located at 22 S Main Street, Franklinton, North Carolina.

At noon, attendees will go out into the field for hands-on experience, instruction, and lunch. Bring your own bag lunch; beverages will be provided.

For part of the afternoon, Tammy Winkel, pet photographer, will join Bob and share what makes a good pet photographer.

Workshop attendees will return to the Upfront Gallery at 4:30pm for photo viewing and critiquing.

The fee for Seeing The Light is $30 per person for FCAC Members, or $40 per person for non-members. To register, email fcac.arts@fcacarts.org or stop by the Upfront Gallery. With questions, call 919.497.6910. Class size is limited; acceptance will be on a first come, first served basis.
