Registration Open for NCDA&CS 2018 Food Business Conference

Today the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) announced that registration is open for their sixth-annual Food Business Conference. The Conference will be held in Durham NC on February 14, 2018, 9am-3pm.

The conference is designed for established food entrepreneurs and food manufacturers interested in expanding their market research capabilities, growing their business, or expanding into new markets for their products. The day’s presentations include:

  • “Using US Census Data to Discover Your Market Potential,” by Kelly Karres, data dissemination specialist with the US Census Bureau.
  • “Overview of NCDA&CS Marketing Programs,” by Sherry Barefoot, marketing specialist with NCDA&CS.
  • “Using Census Data to Estimate Market Share and Revenue,” by Annette Dunlap, agribusiness developer with NCDA&CS.
  • “Using Google Analytics to Fine Tune Your Target Market,” by Jessica Davis, digital strategist with Level360, LLC.

The cost is $55 per person, or $45 for early registration. The early-bird registration deadline is January 5, 2018. A discounted registration fee is available for companies who want to bring a second attendee. Final registration and payment must be received by February 1, 2018.

The conference will be held at the NC Biotechnology Center, 15 TW Alexander Drive, Durham NC. Lunch is included and there will be time to network. A complete agenda and registration form is available at www.ncagr.gov/markets/agribiz.
