Airlie Gardens will showcase It’s Owl Good from July 9 through December 31, 2021, as its 9th Annual Art Exhibit. This exhibit features ten oversized, fiberglass owl sculptures and each owl has been uniquely decorated, painted, or otherwise adorned by a select group of artists and placed on display throughout the grounds for guests to enjoy as part of their garden experience.
“We want visitors to have a great time searching for these beautiful and whimsical owls at Airlie,” said New Hanover County Parks and Gardens Director Tara Duckworth. “Our artists have done a great job expressing their creativity through the owls, and now our guests will be able to enjoy the public art they have created because of the generosity of the Landfall Foundation, our Major Sponsors and Sculpture Sponsors.”
It’s Owl Good is included in general garden admission and free for Airlie Members. All general admission tickets to the gardens should be purchased online in advance. Members may show their ID or membership card for entry.
Airlie Gardens is located at 300 Airlie Road Wilmington, North Carolina (New Hanover County).
The public is encouraged to take photos and add #itsowlgood and #airliegardens to their social media posts.
