Head to the Lenoir County Fairgrounds, 401 Fairgrounds Road, Kinston, North Carolina, for the 64th-annual Lenoir County Fair, which will run for five days — October 8-12, 2019.
There’s much to see and enjoy, with this year’s fair featuring midway rides and games, 3 Ring Super Circus, motorsports, local entertainment, community exhibits, educational booths, contests, and a variety of favorite fair foods.
Be sure to go through the exhibit hall and see agricultural exhibits and ribbon winners.
Special events include the 35th Annual Cheerleading Competition, FFA/4-H Tractor Driving Competition, Demolition Derby and Bojangles Motocross. On Throwback Thursday, fair admission is just $1 and rides are $1 each (10-ride minimum).
This year’s fair hours and admission prices:
- Tuesday, October 8, 2019 — 5-11pm ($6)
- Wednesday, October 9, 2019 — 5-11pm ($6)
- Thursday, October 10, 2019 — 5-11pm ($1)
- Friday, October 11, 2019 — 5-11pm ($6)
- Saturday, October 12, 2019 — noon-11pm ($7)
Fair admission is free for children 4 and under, accompanied by adult ticket-holders.
Unlimited ride wristbands are $25 each and 2-for-$25 on Tuesday. Admission/ride combo tickets are available online in advance for $25 per person or a Family 4-Pack (2 adults/2 children) for $75. Pre-sales end at 5pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
