A public workshop on cybersecurity is geared toward non-profits and small businesses in Eastern NC.

At this seminar, attendees will identify the necessity for cybersecurity. We will review an academic approach to information security, the CIA triad.  We will discuss common threats and mechanisms for prevention and response.  Finally, we will conclude with some practical advice specifically for SMBs, with an opportunity to ask questions of the presenter, Garth Wertmer from WebPoint IT Solutions.

Join SCORE and Braswell Memorial Library at this July First Tuesday for Non Profits & Small Business Owners event.  The presentation is July 5, 2016, 5:45-7:30pm, in the Computer Lab on the second floor of Braswell Memorial Library, 727 N Grace Street, Rocky Mount NC.

This informative event may help make Eastern North Carolina Small Business owners safer online.
