Would you give two hours to let US wounded service members know that you appreciate their sacrifices and are thinking of them? One area library is holding an event for children to create letters for Fayetteville, North Carolina Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center wounded warriors.

On Saturday, August 18, 2018, 10am to noon, the Junior Women’s League of Smithfield NC will host a public gathering and ask everyone to bring their children at the Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield (PLJCS) to write “Thank You” letters and/or draw pictures for the Wounded Warrior Project®.

The event will be held at PLJCS, located at 305 E Market Street, Smithfield NC. This is a free event with art supplies donated by Caring Hearts Civitan Club.

For more information or updates, visit/follow the library’s Facebook page and check out the library’s offerings online at www.pljcs.org.

Since 2003, Wounded Warrior Project® has been meeting the growing needs of warriors, their families, and caregivers — helping them achieve their highest ambition. Learn more at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
