Tom, Dick and Harry went out to dinner. After dinner, they returned to their hotel. The hotel was 60 stories high and their rooms were at the top.
Unfortunately, the elevator was not working. They made a plan to pass the time. For the first 20 stories, Tom would tell jokes. The second 20 stories, they decided, Dick would tell a happy story. Lastly, Harry would tell a sad story the rest of the way.
With this plan, the three of them started up the steps.
After an hour or so, it was Harry’s turn. He turned to his friends and said, “Ok guys, here’s a sad story. I forgot the key downstairs.”
