The freight train was speeding along the tracks. As it came around a bend, the Engineer spotted a cow on the tracks a short distance ahead.
Applying the brakes, he quickly realized the train was not going to stop in time. He began bracing for impact, when the cow suddenly stepped forward off of the tracks!
The cow cleared the tracks and began grazing safely, just as the train whipped passed it.
As the train finally ground to a halt, the Engineer wiped his brow and thought to himself, “Whew! That could have been an udder disaster!”
