Let’s Talk About It

September 1, 2016 @ 6-7:30pm — NC Humanities Council presents the book series “Explorations of Faith in Literature.” Tom Douglass, Associate Professor of English at East Carolina University will begin the books series with the discussion of “Peace Like a River” by Leif Enger in the Warner Room.

September 8, 2016 @ 6-7:30pm — NC Humanities Council book series presentation, “Explorations of Faith in Literature.”  Rebecca Godwin, Professor of English at Barton College will lead the discussion on the book “Ceremony” by Leslie Marmon Silko in the Warner Room.

September 22, 2016 @  6-7:30 pm — For this NC Humanities Council “Explorations of Faith in Literature” presentation, scholar Jane Andrews will discuss the book “Traveling Mercies” by Anne Lamott in the Warner Room.

Literary Latte Hour

September 10, 2016 @ 1-2pm — Join the group at Dunkin Donuts, located at 2120 Stone Rose Drive in Rocky Mount NC. Come relax and find out what’s new or share what you have recently read with fellow book lovers.

Writer’s Fellowship

September 10, 2016 @ 3-4pm — This gathering is held in the second floor Computer Lab. All writers and ages are welcome.

Author Visit

September 24, 2016 @ 2-3pm — Author Yancey Uriah will present his book “Hood’s Product.” Books will be available purchase and author signing after the presentation in the library’s Warner Room.
