The Franklin County Arts Council (FCAC) is looking for a variety of quilting styles from local quilters in Franklin and surrounding counties. Submit your quilt to be considered for the Quilt Show in August.

Submission Guidelines and entry forms are available at the Gallery On Main in Louisburg, North Carolina, and on the FCAC’s “3rd Friday with the Artist” event page.

Quilt submissions will accepted May 1 to July 1, 2019. One entry form must be completed for each quilt. The “quilt description” part of the submission form will appear in a program and/or quilt tag on display, so quilters are encouraged to take the opportunity to explain the techniques used, the design inspiration/process, and the story of the quilt. A photo must be included showing the finished quilt top before or after quilting.

Quilt Show selection will be made by a jury of FCAC Board members, committee chairs, and volunteers. Selection will be made from photos submitted, with quilters notified of acceptance in the Quilt Show by email on July 12, 2019.

Part of the FCAC the “3rd Friday with the Artist” series, the Quilt Show is the feature event on Friday, August 16, 2019  at the Gallery on Main, 118 B North Main Street, Louisburg, NC.

Contact Franklin County Arts Council at fcac.arts@fcacarts.org for submission guidelines/entry forms or for additional information.
