Margaret Hilpert was a champion of the Arts in our community. She touched a great deal of people with her passion for the arts and one of her passions was promoting access to Art in Franklin County.  Margaret was an excellent and talented teacher, a willing volunteer, a supporter not only of Franklin County Arts Council but of Art in Franklin and surrounding counties.  She was the leader of Franklin County Arts Council at a critical time in its history and continued supporting the Arts Council and The Quilt Trails of the Tar & Roanoke Rivers beyond her tenure on the Board teaching classes, volunteering, painting quilt blocks, and sharing the history of Franklin County.

Margaret believed everyone should have access to the Arts.  FCAC is establishing the Margaret Hilpert Art Fund to fully or partially offset Art Class tuition costs for youth and adults in Franklin County. We need your help to meet our goal of $5,000.  Donate to the Margaret Hilpert Art Fund and support Art in Franklin County.

Franklin County Arts Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.  Donations are tax deductible.  For more information, visit FCACarts.org.
