Much to Do at 2015 Taste of Stantonsburg Festival

Orchestrated by the town of Stantonsburg, the Taste of Stantonsburg Festival is scheduled for August 29, 2015, 10am-5pm.

This family-oriented event will be held at the Town Park, located at W Macon Avenue and N Main Street, in Stantonsburg.

The event is open to all citizens. There will be live entertainment all day, arts and crafts, a car show, and dozens of vendors from across NC showcasing their products and talents.
Local VFD, EMS, Police, Red Cross, and S&R units plan static displays.

The Wilson Co. Auxiliary Communications Team will setup a radio display with HF V/UHF and digital communication demonstrations. Local Boy Scouts will get a chance to get on-the-air to fulfill their merit requirements. The general public will have a opportunity, via “ham” radio, to try and make contact with other stations around the world.
