Tarboro’s Historic Town Common the Site for Arts Festival on June 11

The “Happening on the Common Arts Festival” combines art with performances, a festival atmosphere, tasty foods, and fun activities. Held on the historic Town Common, Tarboro NC, this free event is scheduled for June 11, 2016, starting at 10am and running until 5pm.

This annual event is sponsored by Edgecombe Arts and the Town of Tarboro. In addition to live performances, a variety of vendors will be on-hand with crafts, food, and more.

2:30 pm — Tar River Boys (Bluegrass)
3:15 pm — The Evening Travelers (Gospel Music)
4pm — Steel Standin’ Band (Rock, Blues, and Country music)

Tarboro NC is located in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, within the Rocky Mount Metropolitan Statistical Area. Its Town Common is one of two remaining within the United States — the other one is located in Boston, Massachusetts.
