Come out and enjoy the Bunn Rural Volunteer Fire Department’s delicious BBQ cooking. This annual event returns on March 12, 2016.

The fire department promises great food and fellowship, entertainment for the kids, raffle tickets, and information on becoming a volunteer.

BBQ plates go on sale at 11am. The sale is scheduled until noon, but will actually end when they run out of food… which may be before noon!

Plates may include tasty choices from prior years, including BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, vegetables, cole slaw, dessert choices. Funds raised help the department purchase needed equipment.

The site of the fundraiser, the Bunn Fire Department’s Fire Station 1, is located at 505 S Main Street, in Bunn NC. You can’t miss it, as it is just across the street from the high school.

Visit the fire department’s website for more information on this annual fundraiser. There are also details there regarding their “Page a Fire Fighter Program” under the Fundraising link. To reach them by phone, call 919.496.5051.
