Mudcats Baseball Job Fair Scheduled for March 5

The Carolina Mudcats will hold their annual job fair and hiring event on Saturday, March 5 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm inside Cattails Restaurant at Five County Stadium in Zebulon. All applicants ages 16 and over are encouraged to apply and help spread #MudcatsFUN throughout Eastern North Carolina.

Available openings include food and beverage, picnic staff, ushers, parking attendants, stadium clean up, batboy, grounds crew and promotions crew.

The Mudcats video department will also be hiring for multiple positions. Available gameday production positions include camera operators, video board operators, instant replay, audio operators and directors.

Parking will be available in the main parking lot adjacent to NC Hwy 264 and near the team front office. Applicants are encouraged to arrive early; the interview segment of the event will begin promptly after 10:00 am.

Cattails Restaurant is located on the fourth floor of Five County Stadium in Zebulon. Applicants are encouraged to take the elevator or stairs behind home plate to get to the fourth floor.

Carolina’s 2016 baseball season officially begins on April 7 as the Mudcats open on the road in Salem against the Red Sox. Carolina’s home opener is scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2016, against Myrtle Beach at Five County Stadium.

The Carolina Mudcats are the Class A Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The 2015 “Braves New World” season was the first for the Mudcats as an affiliate of the Braves and the club’s fourth straight in the historic Carolina League. First established in 1991, the two-time Southern League Champion Mudcats recently finished their 25th straight season of baseball at Five County Stadium, 1501 NC-39, in Zebulon NC.
