The Wayne County Museum presents, Willowdale: Passed Meets Present, a unique play based around inhabitants of a local cemetery.
This original play, put on by the Wayne County Historical Association (WCHA) and the Wayne County Museum, is an entertaining narrative highlighting some of the many residents of local Willowdale Cemetery. You’ll be surprised at who is buried there and even more intrigued by the stories they have to share!
Three performances in August will be held at the Wayne County Museum, located at 116 N William Street, Goldsboro, North Carolina. Evening performances beginning at 7pm are available Friday, August 11, 2017, and Saturday, August 12, 2017. One Matinee performance, starting at 3pm, is available Sunday, August 13, 2017.
Adult tickets are $15. A discounted ticket rate of $12 is available for WCHA and Museum Members. For children age 12 and under, tickets are $6. To purchase tickets and for more information, visit the Wayne County Museum in person, or buy online at waynemuseum.org.
For those looking to take the cemetery play to the next level, mark your calendar for special performances in October. The play has been adapted as a cemetery tour and will be offered on four dates: October 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2017.
