The Zebulon United Methodist Women, at Zebulon United Methodist Church (UMC), is holding their annual Flea Market and Bake Sale on Saturday, March 5, 2016, from 7am until noon.

Funds raised from flea market sales and the baked goods sales go toward the United Methodist Women’s missions.

In advance of the event, Zebulon UMC is asking for donations of “treasures” that they may sell at the Flea Market. Donations may be brought to the Fellowship Hall from February 28 through March 4, 2016 — before noon on March 4 to ensure there is enough time to process the donation and include it in the sale.

For folks interested in volunteering, the church volunteers will be sorting and pricing flea market items on Thursday, March 3, from 8:30 am until 7 pm, and on Friday, March 4, starting at 8:30. Many volunteers are needed.

Baked goods may be brought to the Fellowship Hall on Friday, March 4, until 7pm, or on Saturday, March 4, before 7am.

For those interested in donating who need assistance moving their treasures to the church, contact Anna Corbett at 919.269.9534.

On the day of the event, the event will be located inside and outside of Zebulon UMC’s Fellowship Hall, 121 W Gannon Avenue, Zebulon NC.

The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church. Membership shall be open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the Church through United Methodist Women. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month.
