The annual Petco “Holiday Wishes Grant Campaign” is accepting pet-adoption stories through Monday, September 23, 2019.

If you adopted your pet, Petco wants to know how your pet “brightens your life.” Tell them what makes your adopted animal amazing.  You like talking about your pet anyway, right?

Submit your story with photos via Petco’s online form, and you can win up to $100,000 in funding for the animal welfare agency where you adopted your lovable fluff. Can you imagine how much good that organization or county shelter could do with that level of funding?

Oh, and the winning pet owner gets a Petco shopping spree.

Even if your pet’s adoption story doesn’t become a $100,000 winner, dozens of other levels of funding are awarded for stories. In prior years, pet adoption groups and shelters have won $5,000, $10,000, and more. Imagine how much good the funds could do, and all you need to do is share your adopted pet’s story with Petco.

Read the rules and frequently asked questions (FAQ) and submit your tale via www.petcofoundation.org/holiday-wishes.

Note that story submissions must include the name and contact information for the animal welfare organization where you adopted your pet.
