It was announced July 1, 2016, by the owners of Olde Beau, Legendary College Basketball Commentator Billy Packer and The Kurt Kennington Estate of Charlotte NC, that the Olde Beau Golf and Country Club Complex in Roaring Gap NC will be sold at an Online Auction, selling regardless of price at the end of the auction.

Olde Beau was originally developed by Winston Salem developer Billy Satterfield and named after his favorite pet “Olde Beau,” a beautiful English Bulldog.

Perched atop the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains and less than one hour to Winston Salem, the complex features a Par 72, 18-Hole Championship Mountain Golf Course, Spacious Clubhouse with Banquet and Restaurant facilities, Athletic facility, Custom Built Homes and Condominiums, World Class Trout fishing on the adjoining Mitchell River, Developed Lots, Approved Motor Coach Property and 100’s of Acres of Beautiful Undeveloped Mountain Land.  The property will be offered in tracts, groups of tracts, or as a whole, selling in the manner that generates the most money for the seller.

The complex is available for inspection prior to the auction on specific dates and by appointment. Bidding will open on July 27, 2016, at 8am and start to close on August 4, 2016, at 2pm with extended bidding being in effect until the final bids are placed.
