WHQR Announces Search for New Wilmington, NC Station Manager

The Friends of Public Radio, Inc.’s Board of Directors is beginning a search for a new Station Manager. Michelle Rhinesmith has decided to return to her home state of Florida.

A Station Manager job posting will be made on WHQR’s website, whqr.org.

Jeff Barnes, Chair of the Friends of Public Radio Board of Directors, says:

“The station has an excellent staff, an exciting and growing news department, and is in a strong financial position. We are looking forward to finding a new manager who will lead us to an even brighter future.”
