Elite Innovations to Release the TailGator Summer 2016

Elite Innovations, LLC will publicly launch their newly invented product, the TailGator, beginning with a crowdfunding campaign June 2, 2016. TailGator is a modular truck bed extension system that can be effortlessly customized to support a range of outdoor hobbies and professions. TailGator is the all-purpose truck bed extender. Its modular design includes accessories for construction, DIY and recreational activities.

“Since day one, the need for TailGator seemed intuitive. As we’ve continued development leading up to the Kickstarter campaign, the response to this product has been astonishing. Since TailGator is such a flexible platform, all of the potential uses haven’t been discovered yet – we’re eager to see all of the new ways that our customers decide to use the product.”

– Andrew Williams, CEO

A retired contractor from Wilmington, North Carolina, Van Jackson filed the patent for TailGator in December 2010 after holding onto the idea for over 20 years. Van brought the idea to Elite Innovations in October 2014, where Elite Innovations created a new life for the product by adding accessories for home projects, contractors, and outdoor hobbyists. TailGator and its accessories have been prototyped and are ready for manufacturing following the upcoming crowdfunding campaign.

Whether it’s construction, kayaking, hiking, or home improvement projects, TailGator has accessories that seamlessly integrate the product with daily. Many uses are outlined on Elite Innovations’ Vimeo and Facebook pages.

The extender adds several feet to a truck’s bed length, making bigger items or loads easier to haul.

A crowdfunding campaign launches on kickstarter.com on June 2, 2016. The goal of this campaign will be to prepare the production process for the national market. With the help of contributors, TailGator will launch Summer 2016 to create a new business and additional local job opportunities. A $225 contribution to this Kickstarter campaign gets you one of the first TailGators!
