Vance County Regional Fair is August 31-Sept 5

The Vance County Regional Fair will bring rides, food, family fun, and tasty foods. This county fair returns for six days, August 31-September 5, 2016.

Come to the Vance County Fairground, located at 1427 E Andrews Avenue, in Henderson NC, on your own or with family and friends.  You’ll find something fun to do in this 99th year of the fair!

This year’s hours are:

  • Wednesday, August 31 — 5-10pm
  • Thursday, September 1 — 3-10pm
  • Friday, September 2 — 5-11pm
  • Saturday, September 3 — 10am-11pm
  • Sunday, September 4 — 1-10pm
  • Monday, September 5 — noon-6pm

Admission is $5, with youth 4 and under free.  Wristbands are $22.  Single Tickets are $1.25. Fair parking is free.

August 31 is Senior Night, and admission is free for people 65 years and older.

September 1 is  Kids Day with $1 Admission for kids from 3-7pm.

 

In addition to vendors, rides, and agricultural exhibits, there will be a 4-H Junior Livestock Show, Agri-Puppets, arts and crafts, and a magician too.

Amusements of America partners with Vance County Cooperative Extension to provide a variety of fair foods.

The  Cooperative Extension oversees fair entries, the livestock show, and educational booths
