Teen programs for October includes regular programs alongside Halloween-themed special events. Take your teens to Braswell Memorial Library for scary-creative events. Make something, tell a Halloween story, or kick back and watch a movie. The library covers many teen interested with their events!

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) — October 5, 2016 — 5:30-7pm

The TAB provides feedback and ideas for our teen programs. Join up and let your voice be heard. This meeting is in Braswell’s Young Adult Area.

Teen Movie Night — October 6, 2016 — 5:30-7:30pm

For Teen Movie Night on Thursday, we will be showing Captain America: Civil War.  Gather for snacks and the movie in the Computer Lab.

Teen Read Week: Book Swap — October 13, 2016 — 5:30-7:30pm

Got a gently used book?  Bring it to this event and Swap it!  Get new reading material, and maybe someone else will take home your unwanted book. Bring yourself and your book(s) to the Computer Lab.

Teen Minecraft Club — October 19, 2016 — 5:30-7:30pm

Work with other teens to design and create in the world of Minecraft. Everyone gather in the Computer Lab.

Ghost Story Slam — October 26, 2016 — 5:30-7:30pm **CANCELED**

According to Scott Houston, Teen & Information Services Librarian, he Ghost Story Slam has been CANCELED due to a lack of storytellers.

Wanna hear something scary? Registration is required for this tale-telling event, so be sure to call Braswell and let them know you’re coming. If you have a scary story you’d like to tell, be sure to register and share your scare. Ghost stories will be told in the Computer Lab.

Teen Game Night — October 27, 2017 — 5:30-7:30pm

A variety of games will be available for play with friends or family. Join the fun in Braswell’s Teen Area.
