Newspaper Moves Online at Fifth Anniversary

News from The Grey Area

By Kay Whatley, Editor

The Grey Area newspaper is online at greyareanews.com, with new articles and event notices posted all week long. As our sixth year of publication begins, the printed newspaper is officially retired, and the online news will be released throughout the day, pretty much every day, throughout the week.

Special items like the Cryptogram are moving online on our publication’s anniversary date — starting in March 2016, alongside news and features, more often, for Eastern NC and beyond — covering new territory.

We will continue to serve the community, our readers, and local businesses, in an online-only format. Thank you for reading, and giving us positive feedback on, the printed newspaper during our five years in print. Reader and advertiser support was, and is, greatly appreciated.

To advertise on the news website, with the passing of our founder and Sales Manager Frank Whatley, contact Kay Whatley at 919.637.6973 to place your ad on GreyAreaNews.com.

To submit news, information, or share local happenings, email kayw@greyareanews.com.

We are seeking writers interested in writing online news articles about Eastern North Carolina.
