The public is invited to come to the art exhibition, “COMMUNITY ART SHOWCASE” that John Gay, a Rocky Mount Railroad Museum member, will have on display at the Rocky Mount Mills starting November 1, 2019. The exhibit will show throughout November and up until December 7, 2019.
The exhibit kids off on Friday evening, November 1, 2019, with a reception 6-8pm.
Starting November 4, 2019 the exhibit will be open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Take a few minutes of your time to view the exhibition, support John Gay, and marvel at the beautiful artwork that he will have on display.
Note that the final day to view the exhibit, December 7, 2019 is also the date of the Rocky Mount Mills Tower Lighting!
Mr. Gay is the art teacher at Nash Central High School who supervised his talented art club students’ paintings of The Rocky Mount Railroad Museum’s three lovely train murals.
