Free Spring Concerts Planned in Wake Forest NC

The town of Wake Forest, North Carolina is holding a 2018 Six Sundays in Spring concert series on six consecutive Sundays. The first concert is in late April, with the last in early June 2018.

The 2018 concert Sundays are:

  • April 29, 2018 — The Connells
  • May 6, 2018 — Capital Transit
  • May 13, 2018 — The Spongetones
  • May 20, 2018 — Caribe Vibe
  • May 27, 2018 — Melissa Reaves
  • June 3, 2018 — John Brown Quartet

These six free spring concerts start at 5pm in the amphitheater at E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road, Wake Forest NC.

Food and refreshment vendors are scheduled to be on-site with goodies and drinks for sale. Concert attendees are welcome to bring along their own picnic.  These events are family-friendly, so do not bring alcoholic beverages, don’t smoke, and keep pets on-leash.

In the event of rain, the concerts may move indoors — into the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S Brooks Street, Wake Forest NC. Weather updates will be available on the town’s Facebook page or via Wake Forest Weather Line (919.435.9569).

Concert attendees are asked to park in Joyner Park’s designated parking area.
