Vollmer Farm in Bunn, North Carolina, is opening its Back 40 farm play area on Saturday, October 1, 2016. As cooler weather becomes the norm, visit the farm and enjoy kids’ outdoor activities and family special events.
On weekends, stop by the farm to pick a pumpkin, pick up decorations like gourds and mums, and enjoy live music, purchase tasty foods from the food truck or the farm ice cream shop, and enjoy a free hayride.
Admission to Back 40 Playground Day Pass admission rates range from $10-$14 (plus state sales tax). Ages 2 and under are free. Admission includes access to the Back 40 activities, including the giant orange “pumpkin” trampoline, the Cow Barrel Train, a corn maze, hay pyramid, and many more fun things to do.
Saturday evenings, bring the family out for movie night and watch a movie projected on the barn while enjoying the warmth of a bonfire — and s’mores if you like! Get comfortable on the lawn to watch these movies. The evening movie is included with a Day Pass; or, arrive at 5pm or later for a discounted admission fee of $10.
