The Nash County Sheriff’s Office will hold one of its Hot Dog for Kids events on Saturday, August 24, 2019, 11:30am-1pm, in Whitakers, North Carolina.

The NCSO Mobile Command Unit, complete with volunteer deputies, grill, and lunch supplies, will be set up in the parking lot at the Whitakers Police Department, 302 NW Railroad Street, Whitakers, NC. Children living in the community are invited to come with their family members and enjoy a hot dog, chips, and a drink.

Captain Eddie Moore, Major David Brake, and several Deputies will be grilling up lunch. Walk up — no reservation needed — and get a free meal and meet your local law enforcement officers.

For updates and future hot dog days, follow the Nash County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.
