Franklin County Arts Council (FCAC) announces the next “3rd Friday with The Artist” event will be July 20, 2018, 6-8pm. The featured artist is Louise Asaraf.
Louise Asaraf grew up on Long Island, New York and now lives in Henderson, North Carolina. Louise always planned to paint when she retired; but, when her daughter enrolled in a drawing class she went to class with her. That was the beginning of 15 years of art classes.
Working primarily in oils, Louise also works in watercolor. She enjoys painting animals, landscapes, and does pet portraits.
3rd Friday with the Artist will be held at the Gallery at 118-B North Main Street, Louisburg NC. This is the new FCAC location, as they relocated from Franklinton to Louisburg — the new location’s grand opening was held on June 15, 2018.
