Farmhouse Jams:  Featuring Johnny Folsom 4

Do you enjoy an evening of music in an intimate setting that is entertaining and family friendly?  Bring a blanket or a chair and join us at Wendell Falls for Farmhouse Jams, taking place at our beautiful lake pavilion.  Chill and unwind as you kick-back and enjoy live music, catch up with neighbors or make new friends.  Come early and grab a drink from Grounds Cafe or walk through the pop up market on the festival lawn by Fine Crafted Market. Organized by Wendell Falls by Newland Communities. Held at the lake pavilion at Wendell Falls, 320 Vintage Point Lane, Wendell NC.

Church Yard Sale

Wendell United Methodist Church is holding its annual fundraiser which offers a little something for everyone. Free and open to the public, so come and browse, and you might find something unique for yourself, your household, or a holiday gift. International Food and Music Festival

Saturday, September 22, 2018 @ 11am-5pm

Are you a foodie and welcome the opportunity to sample new foods? Then join St. Eugene Catholic Church for its 16th-annual International Food and Music Festival in Downtown Wendell.

Savor the foods of a dozen cultures that call Wendell home, and enjoy the free entertainment, including Barrowburn, Mickey Mills & Steel, and a variety of cultural singing and dancing. And there will be plenty of games for the children.

This festival is held in and around J Ashley Wall Square, located at Third and Cypress Streets, Wendell NC.

Organized by St. Eugene Catholic Church, this festival is free to enter; food and drinks will be available for purchase from food booths themed for different countries/cuisines. The church offers raffle prizes every year, so pick up a ticket and you might win something good.

Wendell Historical Society Reverse Raffle

Thursday, September 20, 2018 @ 6pm

The third annual reverse raffle will continue the Wendell Historical Society’s efforts to raise money to establish a Wendell museum. This is a ticketed event to benefit the historical society.

Tickets provide dinner for two, and a 1-in-266 chance of winning $10,000, for $100. If interested in purchasing dinner tickets, call 919.365.6313 or email. Dinner is at 6pm, with the raffle at 7pm. Raffle tickets are available by contacting a member of the Wendell Historical Society.

Watch for the 91st-annual 2018 Harvest Festival on October 6, 2018 in downtown Wendell.
