20th Anniversary Dunn Center Concert (May 11, 2017 @ 7:30pm)
Held at The Dunn Center for the Performing Arts, 3400 N Wesleyan Blvd, Rocky Mount NC. The Rocky Mount Chamber Singers will present their last concert of the 2016-17 season. The 24 member chorus was invited to present the final concert in this year’s series that celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Dunn Center. Tickets are $15 and available here.

Shearing Day at Clover C Farm (May 13, 2017 @ 8am-3pm)
Head over to Clover C Farm, 117 Cheves Road, Bunn NC. The farm is holding their annual shearing day with Fred Pugh III, master shearer. Come and watch this “age-old management practice” as the farm harvests wool from their flock. Check out hats and other goods made from the wool and learn too. The farm is on Facebook here.

4th Annual Fun Bike Ride and Rodeo (May 13, 2017 @ 9am-noon)
The event will begins with a Bike Rodeo for children ages 5-10. Children must wear helmets and be supervised. The Fun Bike Ride is open to all ages, and will begin at 10am at the shelter located beside the tennis courts at Sunset Park, 1550 River Road, Rocky Mount NC. The 6.5 mile route will take riders through four national historic districts, downtown, and the Tar River Trail. Zebulon Farm Fresh Market (May 13, 2017 @ 9am-1pm)
“ZFFM” is open Saturdays from May to October 2017. The location is the Zebulon Municipal Complex, 1003 N Arendell Avenue, Zebulon NC — just across Arendell Avenue from the Food Lion plaza. This public event is hosted by the Rolesville Masonic Lodge 683 and is being held at 11920 Louisburg Road, Wake Forest NC. This event is for kids and their families and is Catch & Release only. Prizes will be awarded in several age categories (6-U, 7-11, 12-15, 16/up). Prizes will be awarded for biggest fish / smallest fish per age division, biggest fish overall.
