JB Rhine was fond of animals, but it was his curiosity that led him to a ‘psychic’ horse named Lady Wonder in 1929. By 1951, JB Rhine had initiated research programs at the Duke Parapsychology Labs that focused on the question: Do animals have Psi abilities? The research continued through the 60s and 70s, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, even bugs and fish.
