Battleship Easter Egg Hunt Carnival

Friday, March 30, 2018 (Good Friday) @ 10am-2pm

Easter egg hunt, pony rides, inflatables games, and Buddy, the Battleship Easter Bunny.  Egg hunts will be continuous throughout the day, weather permitting. Multiple hunts, including a slower-paced hunt area offering less stress for special needs children. Tickets are $5+tax per person for ages 3-99. Children 2 and under are free. Knightdale PD Spring Carnival Fundraiser for NC Special Olympics

March 29-April 8, 2018

Flashlight Bunny Hunt

Friday, March 30, 2018 @ 7-9pm

Join the fun at Wave Church, 5334 Lamm Road, Wilson NC. This is billed as an “Easter party of epic proportions!” Come out with your flashlight and search for the church’s Easter Bunny. Enjoy games, live music, fun games, and special guests The Guardians. Wave Church is on Facebook here.

Fayetteville NC: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Easter Egg Scramble

Saturday, March 31, 2018 @ 7:30-11:30am

Both events are organized by the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation and held at 100 Bragg Blvd, Fayetteville NC.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be served 7:30-9:30am. Breakfast pricing is $10 per adult, $5 per child 3-12, with children 2 and under free with a paying adult. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available. Breakfast will consist of two pancakes, a sausage patty, juice or milk, and coffee for the adults. Make breakfast reservations at shop.asomf.org or by calling 910.643.2778/2773.

The Passage Church Egg Hunt

This free event will be held at Wendell Community Center, 601 W Third Street, Wendell NC. This year, in addition to the egg hunt, there will be inflatables and games, music, Muddy The Mudcat, and activities — more than ever before. Bring a backet or bucket and join the fun. Open to the public, so bring friends. The Brown Bag Bagels food truck will be there offering breakfast items for sale.

Goldsboro NC: Easter Eggstravaganza

Held by Southbridge Fellowship. Kick off Easter weekend with an Easter Eggstravaganza at Pine Hollow Middle School, 5365 Bartram Place, Raleigh NC. Watch as thousands of eggs drop from a helicopter in the sky, covering the school’s football field. This is a family-friendly event for all ages to seek out candy/treat-filled eggs. Fabulous Friday

The April event is an “Egg Drop” with a chance for young “engineers” to show off their skills and try to save an egg from destruction. Eggs will be dropped from the water tower. Admission fees are waived during Fabulous Fridays. Admission to the Imagination Station is normally $5 per person (adults/children), with free entry for children 3 and under and Museum members. Imagination Station is located at 224 Nash Street E, Wilson NC. Parking is available behind the museum in their Douglas Street parking lot.

Bring your pesticides, motor oil, antifreeze, paint, tires, appliances, batteries, fluorescent lamps, electronics, and televisions for proper disposal. The shred truck can destroy documents you no longer need.  Organized by the town of Zebulon Public Works. Workday in the Apiary

Come help Baxter’s Bees assemble and paint bee boxes, put together frames, and get hives ready for bees this Spring. Or, help with pollinator garden plantings. Lend a hand and learn about other ways to support beekeepers and honey bees. Baxter’s Bees is located on Arendell Avenue, Zebulon NC. In January 2018, most of their beehives were poisoned and vandalized. Support this local business as they recover from the vandalism.
