Whitakers Friday Market Days: Friday, September 17, 2020 @ 3-6pm
This community market will be open Fridays through October, with vendors offering homegrown/produce, homemade, local items, and (sometimes) hot foods.

This farmers market encompasses two buildings and an outdoor areas, with lots of room for the wide variety of offerings. Shop for locally-grown produce, meats and seafood, homemade goods, home decor, crafts, furniture, plants, apparel, and more, food trucks.

Selma Railroad Days Festival: October 1 & 2, 2021
Festival will begin with the Chew Chew Food Truck Rodeo on Friday, with live music by KendriX Singletary (6-9pm). Railroad Days on Saturday include entertainment on two stages, a 5K run/walk, parade, hollerin’ contest, and more. Kids Zone ($5), plus food trucks, vendors and more including model trains.

10 Plant Tours: Friday, October 8, 2021 @ noon-1pm
Nash County Arboretum offers a series of free, public, tours discussing different types of plant. These monthly tours are led by extension agents from the Nash County Center. Plants discussed on each date:

This year’s Knightdale Arts & Education Festival includes a Knightdale Chamber of Commerce Business Expo alongside food trucks/inflatables (10am-2pm) and a free concert, food trucks, and fireworks in the evening (5-9pm).
