Chambers of Commerce Support Local Businesses and Entrepreneurs

A Chamber of Commerce is a network designed to help local businesses or organizations by providing networking opportunities, and advocating for local commerce. In and around the five county area of Eastern North Carolina, quite a few Chambers of Commerce are helping area businesses to grow.
A list of the available chambers is included below. Here at The Grey Area news, we belong to several local chambers. Membership benefits vary by location. Benefits we have received are business promotion, word-of-mouth connections, event participation, and networking opportunities. On more than a few occassions, participating with a local chamber helped us connect with advertisers and gain advertising revenue along with a business relationship.
