The Angelic Beaders: Still Going Strong

Contributed by Brenda Braxton

The Angelic Beaders of Rocky Cross Baptist Church formed in 2011 for the purpose of making jewelry to sell, as a way to raise funds to build a community playground. After the playground was built, the ladies continued to make jewelry and were able to add lights, electricity, water, additional tables, and a picnic shelter.

In 2014, the ladies decided to “go global” with their jewelry sales and opened an online shop on Etsy. They can be found at www.angelic beaders.etsy.com. To date, they have sales in eight foreign countries and over twenty states. The money from the sale of their jewelry is now going to the Rocky Cross Baptist Build

ing Fund to help with the ongoing remodel and upgrade of church facilities.

The Angelic Beaders are also sharing the Gospel of Jesus by sending THE STORY booklet with each order.

On November 21, the Angelic Beaders will have their Annual Jewelry Sale in the church Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited to drop by between the hours of 9 and 12 noon. There will be lots of beautiful jewelry at sale prices, free gift wrapping, and great refreshments. Purchases can be made by cash, check or credit card. All sales will go to the Zebulon NC church’s building fund.
