According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “In the United States, infestation with head lice is most common among pre-school children attending child care, elementary schoolchildren, and the household members of infested children.”
Well, school is in session and lice may be making their way around area schools even now. Before you pack for holiday travel, or prepare to open your home to visiting relatives, you might want to check the kiddos to make sure some unwelcome lice are waiting to be shared with the whole family.
