Braswell Memorial Library’s August 2016 Adult Programs

  • Authors in August
    August 13, 2016 @ 10am-5pm
    Eight authors from the Twin Counties area will present their books. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Held in the Computer Lab (10am-1pm) and the Warner Room (1pm-5pm).
  • Good Reads Book Club
    August 22, 2016 @ 10:30am-12pm
    The Good Reads Book Club will be discussing “Linny’s Sweet Dream List” by Susan Schild. The author of the book will be present at the book club. If you are interested in joining the Book Club, contact Kesha Joyner 252.442.1951 x.253.
  • Author Visit
    August 25, 2016 @ 4pm-5pm
    Author Susan Schild will present her books “Linny’s Sweet Dreams List” and “Sweet Carolina Morning” in the Warner Room. Book signing/Book selling will be after the presentation.
  • NC Humanities Council’s “Let’s Talk About It”
    September 1, 2016 @ 6pm
    Presentation on “Explorations of Faith in Literature.”  Meet in the Warner Room. Books are available for pick-up at the Information Services Desk.
