The Knightdale Chamber of Commerce is holding its first 2016 “Red Ribbon Showcase” — a group ribbon-cutting ceremony for new Chamber members. As many as eight local businesses may participate in this gathering.
Members and the public are invited to meet these new Chamber members on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, 9:30-11am, at the Knightdale Town Hall’s Council Chamber Room, 950 Steeple Square Court, in Knightdale NC.
One of the benefits of joining the Knightdale Chamber is a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for a business grand opening or ground-breaking event. Some businesses, though, do not have an office or storefront. Entrepreneurs, independent business people, very small businesses, and home-based businesses participate in events like this Red Ribbon Showcase as a benefit to ensure that they are able to capitalize on the exposure offered by a public ribbon-cutting event.
Chamber members who participate in the Showcase will have a tabletop display for their business. During the event, each is also given the opportunity to give a 3-minute presentation about their products and services. The Showcase is giving these unique businesses a chance to get media exposure, connect with potential customers, and network. Members will gather centrally to cut one ceremonial ribbon and take a photo for media release, or Chamber or business marketing.

Entry to the Showcase is free to the public. Spectators get to learn more about Knightdale business offerings and network while enjoying some light refreshments.
