Denver Earth Day — Denver’s Earth Day Fair is FREE and open to the general public. It is April 22, 2016, organized by the city, and offers educational materials alongside family-friendly fun.

Colorado Parent online magazine includes a list of other things to do in Denver and surrounding areas — as far away as Boulder — for Earth Day. Dates range from April 16 through 24, 2016

The Denver Eater website includes a list of food-oriented opportunities on Earth Day, with each event listed by Colorado city: Baker, Boulder, Longmont, Arvada, and Aspen. Dates range from April 15 through 17, 2016, so it is a little late for one of the Boulder events and the Baker Pickle Party… There is always next year for those!

Unfortunately, Lakewood’s Earth Day Celebration April 16, 2016, at Lakewood Heritage Center was cancelled.

If staying at home, Mile High Mama’s — “Parenting with Altitude” — offers some activities that can be done right at home, Earth Day or any day!
