Louisburg, NC: Greater Franklin County Chamber “Oyster Roast” CANCELED

Returning for the second year, the Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Oyster Roast & More feast on Saturday, October 26, 2019, 5-8pm.

The location this year is Strickland Farms, 3502 NC-39 Hwy South, Louisburg, NC.

Not big on oysters? There will be a variety of food to serve different tastes. The menu includes:

  • Steamed oysters
  • Shell-on shrimp
  • BBQ pork
  • Slaw
  • French fries
  • Hush puppies

The entry fee (tickets) includes the above foods plus water, sweet tea, and iced tea (unsweetened). Tickets are $45 per person. To purchase tickets, go to the Chamber offices at 112 E Nash Street, Louisburg NC. Last year’s Oyster Roast sold out. Only 200 tickets are available, so early purchase is recommended.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Greater Franklin County Chamber’s programs.

Beer will be for sale starting at 5pm. Everyone will be asked to show their ID at the gate upon arrival and will receive a wristband to wear for the evening.

Note that on the same day as the Oyster Roast, The annual “River of Yesteryear” history event will be happening 10am-4pm in River Bend Park, Louisburg, NC.
