Thriller Night is Friday, October 25, 2019, 5-8pm, so grab friends and family and head to historic downtown Goldsboro, North Carolina for a downtown-encompassing party including a Thriller dance performance.

The Downtown Goldsboro Merchants Association hosts this 5th-annual free event. It’s more than just the fabulous dance, though, as the kids can gather candy, get their faces painted, and more.

Walk the kids around downtown to businesses participating in trick-or-treat, who will be handing out goodies for the youngsters. Additionally, costumed cars along Center Street will welcome children for trunk-or-treat.

Check out the local vendors or grab a bite to eat from the food trucks. A variety of foods and treats will be available for purchase from several trucks.

Adults and kids are encouraged to wear costumes. There will be a costume contest, with awards for:

  • Best Baby
  • Best Family
  • Most Unique Costume
  • Best Pet

Yes, pets are allowed at the event as long as they’re leashed or controlled. Leashed dogs and caged small animals are allowed, excluding snakes. Plan responsibly to ensure hot/cold temperatures during this outdoor event don’t cause harm to your pet.

The live Thriller performance by Legacy Dance Project begins at 7pm at the Mulberry/Center Street roundabout by 200 N Center Street, Goldsboro, NC (near Labrar Coffee, city hall, and Worrell Contracting).

For parking, note that Center Street will be closed from Ash Street to Walnut Street.

For more information, see www.ShopDowntownGoldsboro.com or contact Amber at 919.344.2049. (Amber is also the contact for vendor spaces or trunk-or-treat car entries.)

Legacy Dance Project updates may be found at www.facebook.com/legacydanceproject.

In case of rain, this event will be postponed to Saturday, October 26, 2019, 5-8pm. Follow updates on Facebook here.
