The Town of Knightdale is planning fireworks, food trucks, vendors, music, and more for its annual July 4th Celebration.

The free celebration is being held at Knightdale Station Park, 810 N First Avenue, in Knightdale NC.

Music will be playing at the amphitheater, including a special performance by The Embers, and the national anthem and more performed by Faith Baptist Church.

The amphitheater, playground area, and fields will be open and offer the best view for the evening fireworks. Fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:15pm, lasting about 15-20 minutes. The town suggests early arrival:

We recommend arriving early, between 6:30 and 7:30pm, to find a great spot to enjoy the sunset and entertainment at Knightdale Station Park. At the very latest, plan on being on-site by 8pm, though it will be much easier to find a place to park earlier.

There is no entry fee, but patrons are encouraged to bring cash and credit cards for potential purchases from vendors. Coolers are allowed, and blankets and lawn chairs encouraged. Food trucks will be spread throughout the park, with vendors and other activities around the playground from 5pm until 9pm. Lists of food trucks and vendors, as provided by the town, are included at the end of this article.

Parking is available around the park area and other parts of town. Shuttles will be available and will start running at 4pm.

Ashley Wilder Dog Park will close at noon; pets are not invited nor allowed for the July 4th Celebration.
