HauntedHouses.com Unveils Its List of 2016 Scariest Haunted Houses and Attractions

By Bill Rehan for HauntedHouses.com

Hauntedhouses.com’s list of the Top 13 Haunted Houses in America for 2016, has been released. The haunted houses and attractions on this year’s list are the most unique, entertaining and terrifying, haunted attractions in the country.

“Every year we get asked which haunted houses are really going to scare people and more importantly, make their friends scream,” said HauntedHouses.com representative James Olmsted. “We scour the country to find the best of the best all over America.  This year we paid special attention to haunted houses that are unique in their approach to making your heart race. From locations in creepy old industrial districts to country farms and hayrides under the stars, each location has a unique approach to interactive horror, but all deliver the thrills and excitement that Halloween fans are seeking.”

Olmsted continues, “The haunted attraction industry is growing and continuing to evolve. We are always amazed at how the owners, producers and artists up their game each year.  Immersive entertainment in America is growing as a whole, and haunted houses are no exception.  This year we’ve seen trends in interactive elements, where patrons become a part of the show, and although in its infancy, virtual reality is starting to make its way into the industry as well.”
