Barr Lake’s Winter Wonders Holiday Lighted Trail & Chili Cook-Off

Mark your calendars for the Holiday Lighted Trail and Chili Cook-off on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m.  Meet at the Nature Center for a short hike to celebrate the wonders of winter on our lighted Bridge and Niedrach Trail, enjoy a visit from Santa Claus, roast marshmallows, get your face painted  and make some kid’s crafts.  Bring your favorite chili for the chili cook-off to benefit Friends of Barr Lake.  Come hungry and bring $5 to register your dish and/or $1 for a bottomless bowl to sample!

The Winter Wonders Holiday Lighted Trail & Chili Cook-Off is Saturday, December 19, 2015, from 6pm to 9pm MST.

Come by and enjoy the fun, food, and lights at Barr Lake State Park, 1301 Picadilly Road, Brighton, Colorado.

There is a $7 daily pass to enter Barr Lake State Park, and a $5 donation to the “Friends of Barr Lake” to register your chili — only $1 for a bottomless sample bowl!
