Mumkin Fest is a free event, open to the public, to be held October 13-15, 2017, in Knightdale Station Park, 810 N First Avenue, Knightdale NC. Of course, there will be mums and pumpkins!
This is the first year for Mumkin Fest. Last year, the Town of Knightdale held a “Drafts and Carafes” evening event with breweries and wineries. That event was so successful that the town Parks and Recreation Department decided to combine the event with the Fall Festival, creating a weekend Mumkin Fest.
Festivities will begin on Friday, October 13, 2017, 6-9pm, with an A Capella group — Catch 22 — and food trucks.
On Saturday, October 14, 2017, 10am-9pm, there will be activities for all ages, bands 12:30-9pm, food trucks 11am-9pm, and more.
- The Market at Knightdale Station Park – 10am-5pm
- Arts and Crafts Vendors – 10am-5pm
- Children’s Inflatables – 11am-5pm
- Train Rides – 11am-4pm
- Beer Garden “Drafts and Carafes” – 4-7pm
- Pick-Your-Pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch
- Children’s Pumpkin “Carving” (actually, Painting)
The fun outdoor time continues on Sunday, October 15, 2017, 1-5pm, with more bands, food trucks, and inflatables.
Food Trucks will be changing out through the weekend, providing a wide variety of foods to satisfy many palates.
More events are being added. Also, vendor spaces may still be available. For more information on vendors or with availability questions, contact Susie Paschal.
